ofcourse I'll start with:

MARK LANEGAN: FIELD SONGS - an under rated masterpiece.
ISIS - PANOPTICON - not for everyone, but then again they're no ordinary band
QUEENS OF THE STONEAGE - SONGS FOR THE DEAF - last rock album to give me a hard-on for months
JESU - JESU - a lesson in shoegazer/drone/sludge
NEUROSIS - EYE OF EVERY STORM - lately a friend asked me how would i categorize them, simply, you cant they are in a league of their own.
THE GUTTER TWINS - SATURNALIA - Lanegan & Dulli - madonna
SOULSAVERS - BROKEN - album of the year in my opinion
CELTIC FROST - MONOTHEIST - after a 16 year abscence they returned with one of the darkest albums i've heard in my entire life, no sreiously
BRIKKUNI - KuNTRABANDA - who gives a shit if they're not on NME, I still think they deserve to be in there.
