I guess its a matter of taste (apart from the fact that I'm clearly biased ). Its clearly very different from the rest, and I think they just wanted to re-create the 80s/90s "goth" sound and fuse it with some modern sounds - perhaps its a sort of tribute to some of the music that influenced them.

The album is not too "technical"...just simple songs to listen and enjoy. But I certainly can understand that a "die-hard" Piano Magic fan would say its the weakest album. I see it as a kind of "flash-back" album, the sound of which I happen to like.
