I'm quite disapointed with ovations actually...theuir weakest album to date imo.

I guess its a matter of taste (apart from the fact that I'm clearly biased ;) ). Its clearly very different from the rest, and I think they just wanted to re-create the 80s/90s "goth" sound and fuse it with some modern sounds - perhaps its a sort of tribute to some of the music that influenced them.

The album is not too "technical"...just simple songs to listen and enjoy. But I certainly can understand that a "die-hard" Piano Magic fan would say its the weakest album. I see it as a kind of "flash-back" album, the sound of which I happen to like.

Can't Stop It! II (Australian Post-Punk 1979-84) - Includes a track by Lisa Gerrard's band called Microfilm (before Dead Can Dance).

Irvi by Denez Prigent - Includes a track (and its remix) called Gortoz a ran/J'attends featuring Lisa Gerrard (used in the soundtrack for Black Hawk Down).
